[ GAME DESCRIPTION ]
The story in Griefhelm is told in the most minimal way possible. The gamer-controlled knight, while losing parts of his memory, finds himself in the heat of a battle between four different corps in a foggy forest, all of which attack him without warning. Along with the battle for survival, this knight must put the pieces of his memories together one by one along the way to find out his past and the reason for his presence in that foggy forest. As mentioned, this is not a cinematic and twisted narrative, the same half-story that was mentioned is narrated in one or two line sentences before the beginning of each stage, and in general, the story is not an important part of the work. A little bit of philosophical weaving is felt along with, for example, high-level utterances in the sentences that are responsible for the narrative, but ultimately there is nothing special behind these sentences.
The gameplay is the main focus of game developer Johnny Dale Lonack, and despite its relative simplicity, it has become an engaging experience thanks to random changes in each new round of the campaign.
