[ GAME DESCRIPTION ]
The first version of Dead Rising was a very innovative and new game at the time of its release, a game that was not at all like other zombie titles and had more of a humorous aspect. Dead Rising was a very commendable game for its time, but the second version did not try to be as innovative as the first version, and this made a great title a mediocre game. Dead Rising 2 Off The Record is actually a spin-off for the second version, this time bringing back the popular character of the first version, Frank West, to the game. The story was not so important in previous versions, and certainly, no more can be expected from a simple spin-off.
The events of Dead Rising 2 Off The Record coincide with the time of the second version and the story of Chuck. In the first version, we saw Frank West, a professional press photographer. After a dangerous virus spreads and the American people become zombies, Frank decides to take the opportunity to enter a large store and take pictures of the zombies. He tells the helicopter that landed him on the roof of the store to return in 72 hours to pick him up.
During Dead Rising 2 Off The Record, you had 72 hours to complete the story section and enter the adventures of this store. In the second version, a whole new character was replaced by Frank named Chuck, but Capcom brought Frank West back with Off the Record.
