[ GAME DESCRIPTION ]
The main plot of The Flame in the Flood is underway in the United States. In an American society that has collapsed and people are scattered in this vast land. The main reason for these events lies in the mysterious outbreak of a huge river. The flooding of the river has caused many human artifacts to submerge and large areas of land have become virtually inaccessible. As a result, the game world is made up of small and large islands created by this geographical phenomenon.
Unlike other games in the Surviaval Games genre, most of your game time is shifting between the islands, and the game doesn't focus much on building well-equipped, glamorous camps. The character under your control is an anonymous hero who, along with his loyal dog, is trying to survive in this strange and, of course, dangerous world. Your main task with this unnamed protagonist is to protect his health. Things like controlling hunger, thirst, body temperature, fatigue, and treating injuries are some of the tasks assigned to you to keep the main character alive.
But to meet these needs, you both need to find raw materials and various items, as well as take advantage of the game's crafting system. This keeps you from finding new islands and searching for them. Meeting the basic needs of the main character is an important factor that keeps you moving between land and water. The Flame in the Flood does not allow you to constantly explore, nor does it allow you to safely land on land.
On the other hand, the limited capacity of your backpack and the availability of a limited number of riverside islands at the beginning of the game will cause you many problems.
